Our Jazz Collective will be providing some music at the FHS Summer BBQ and Fair on Friday 22nd June.
The event is £1 for adults and free for under 18s and will also feature Meat & Vegetarian BBQ, Cakes, Raffle, Football, London Parkour Project Sessions, Bouncy Castle… and lots more!!

After this week’s cello and bass lessons on June 20th, there will be a one week break as our tutor will be working in at the Amsterdam Conservatorium for that week.
Lessons resume on Wednesday 4th July and an extra week has been added on July 11th.
The Instrumental Showcase once again demonstrated what a talented and diverse group of young musicians we have at FHS.
Featuring our Jazz Collective, as well as soloists, duets and small groups from a cross section of year groups, the concert was enjoyed by a full house in our theatre space.
We enjoyed several debut performances from singer/guitarists, saxophone players and keyboardists and also enjoyed some developed performances from our more experienced key stage 4 and 5 boys.

Lunch time – Forest Hill Collective with Mrs. Heerey
Period 5 – Jazz Collective with Mr. Lowe, Ashwin (keys)

March 21st is the Instrumental Showcase featuring the Jazz Collective.
Auditions for our fund raising gig are being held on Tues 16th and Weds 17th Jan. 3.15pm in room 244. If you have a band and fancy doing the gig to help us raise money then come along after school on Tuesday or Wednesday to show us your thing!
REMEMBER: the gig is on Weds 24th Jan 7-9.30pm. There are BIG raffle prizes. Bring your friends to cheer you on!
